Nepal publishes a five year Vulture Conservation Action Plan

The Government of Nepal has recently published a Vulture Conservation Action Plan to map the way forward for the conservation of critically endangered vultures in this region of Asia. The Action Plan which covers the period 2009 to 2013 was approved by the Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation in December 2009 and was officially launched on the occasion of the World Wetland Day, February 2 2010, by the Honourable Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation at a ceremony in Kathmandu.
